Meet Our Therapists

​All our RMT's have 2200 hours or more of training, and are dedicated to & passionate about continued learning in the field of massage therapy. In this way we hope to continually improve our skills & the service we are able to provide to our clients. All of our practitioners have current CPR & 1st Aid training, and are registered with the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta, as well as the City of Calgary. 


Marco

Marco De Luna graduated from Calgary’s Mount Royal University in July 2022, with a 2200hr Massage Therapy Diploma. During school, Marco developed a keen interest in treating postural dysfunctions, as well as common injuries that happen in sport or in the gym. Using muscle strength and length tests, and other orthopaedic assessments, Marco uses these tools to provide effective therapeutic treatments, while also integrating at-home exercises to compliment and lengthen the positive effects of massage.

Marco is also able to provide relaxation massages for those looking to de-stress and slow down. He is looking forward to continuing his education with modalities that will allow him to better serve his clients. Outside of work, Marco likes to go on hikes with friends or alone, go to the gym, or spend time with family.
 


Charlene

After completing the foot reflexology program in Victoria with the Canadian Reflexology School in 2011, Charlene was eager to be a part of the healing process for her clients and decided pursue massage therapy. Charlene graduated from MH Vicars in Calgary from the 2200-hour Diploma program in 2019. She has successively completed the OSCE and MCQ government exams in Newfoundland in December of 2019.

Along with reflexology, Charlene enjoys therapeutic massage, myofascial release, trigger point release and lymphatic drainage for injuries. Additional education for aromatherapy and side-lying prenatal massage since graduation. She looks forward to continued education and adding more modalities to ensure clients receive the best care.

In her free time, she enjoys being outside, meditating, making memories with family and friends.


Marisha

Marisha completed her Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma at Mount Royal University in 2015 and graduated with honours from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2021. 

Our world inherently leads to stress, anxiety, pain and discomfort related to postural dysfunction, lack of movement and societal pressures. Marisha provides effective therapeutic-focused massage and remedial exercise that improves quality of life while empowering clients to be active participants in their healing process. 

Marisha's background in personal training & group fitness brings a deeper understanding of how the body moves and underscores the important role physical activity plays in physical and mental well being.

In her spare time Marisha enjoys DJing, soccer, befriending cats and true crime podcasts.


Sara

Sara graduated with honours in 2015 from Medicine Hat College with a 2200 hour Massage Therapy diploma. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree in 2019 at the University of British Columbia, with a specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology & Minor in Psychology. Through her combination of massage and exercise science education, Sara is able to create individualized treatment programs for her clients, often incorporating at-home exercise regimes to enhance and extend the benefits of massage. Sara has a special interest in postural assessment and correction, neck and shoulder pain/dysfunction, and stress reduction.  She is eager to further her education with new modalities and therapies in the future.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time outside, reading, knitting, and listening to true crime podcasts. 


Jessica

Jessica graduated from Calgary’s M.H. Vicars School of Massage Therapy in May 2019, where she obtained her 2200 hour diploma. Since graduation she has taken continuing education in Cupping massage to use in combination with her training in Swedish and deep tissue massage.

Having a natural feel for massage therapy, she wanted to help people enjoy a better quality of life by reducing tension and pain while becoming more in tune with their bodies. Jessica is always looking forward to learning new massage therapy techniques to improve her practice and help her clients manage pain. Her style is very therapeutic with a heavy focus on deep relaxation.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing video games, hiking, photography and spending time with friends and family


Melissa

Melissa Baxter graduated from Medicine Hat College in 2015 with a 2200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma. Melissa was trained in Swedish Relaxation, and a combination of therapeutic and deep tissue techniques. Right after graduation, Melissa joined us here at Therapeutic Massage Kneads as she was eager to begin working with clients.

Each treatment she provides is detailed for the needs, requests and comfort of each individual. Melissa has also taken continuing education for Fire Cupping, Prenatal Massage, and Hot Stone Massage. She looks forward to taking more continued education in order to learn new techniques and modalities that will influence the well-being and health of her clients.

In her spare time Melissa loves to show her crafty side, creating anything that Pinterest challenges her with, baking, and spending time with family and friends.


Jenna

Jenna graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in June 2013. She has since taken continuing education in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Maternal Massage Therapy & Cupping Massage.

Jenna loves working with pregnant clients to help their health and well-being during this time. After graduation Jenna was a supervisor for the Summer Student Clinic at MH Vicars, and was also a teaching assistant at Mount Royal University for their Massage Therapy program.

Jenna became interested in massage therapy at a young age, and is happy she has had the opportunity to pursue a career that she loves. In her spare time Jenna enjoys playing computer based video games, and has a love for camping.  


Lindsay

Lindsay is the owner & founder of Therapeutic Massage Kneads Inc. She opened the clinic in 2005, shortly after graduating with honours in 2004 from Medicine Hat College with a 2200 hour diploma in Massage Therapy. She has a passion for providing high quality treatments that are individually tailored to people in search of relaxation, relief of soft tissue pain & stress, or improvement in sports performance, recovery & injuries.

Lindsay also has certification in Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, Kinesio Taping Levels 1 & 2, Cupping Massage & Dermoneuromodulation (DNM). In 2009 she graduated with honours from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition with a diploma in Natural Nutrition. She is the current Chair of the Massage Therapy Association of Alberta (MTAA) and sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Massage Therapy Alliance.

She looks forward to continuing her education in the treatment of chronic pain conditions, expanding her manual therapy skills & continuing to advocate for the profession of massage therapy in Canada. During her spare time she enjoys playing sports, hiking, yoga, reading, & spending time with family & friends.
